Noche Buena? Or Noche "Bueno"?

You know, do you know that the true meaning of Noche Buena is "Good night"?

In the Philippines, this usually comes after the entire family has attended a late evening mass. Often on the table are: lechónpancit, fried chicken, lumpia, rice, adobo, among others for the main course; desserts include halo-halobibingka, rice cakes, puto bumbong, ice cream, pastries and cakes; drinks include soda, wine, beer, juice, and goat milk. (SARAP!)

Do you recall that Jesus Christ was born in a evening? That's why we celebrate Noche Buena, it's because it reminds us of Jesus born in a evening. :) (DUH!)
